thats as peachy as it gets IMO.......time to rip it !!!!!

remember though, that was at what air temp ???
if it's 20+ degrees colder out, i'd jump up one size main, or stay home

I just did it today, I broke the motor in with a 165 main and 52 pilot. It seems to run a lot better with the current jets but I haven't been ripping I only ran wide open to do the plug chop.

NGK is backwards!

the lower the number, the hotter the plug, the higher the number, the colder the plug

what does the ground strap look like on the plug too?

I know KOR usually recommends a -9 plug with a his redesigned heads. when you do this, you may have to drop the jet size since it's going to be a little cooler in the chamber

that is correct, my bad, 7 is hotter, way to keep an eye on my old senile ass !!!!!

i'd still do one with the stock b8es, then switch if you feel the need to

Thanks for clearing that up, I know in my mustang the lower the number the colder the plug. I usually run autolite 24 on the motor and 23s on the spray. What would I do without you guys ? lol , I'mma get some 8s and try another chop .

yup, autolite and ac delco do it that way, i think even champion does. NGK is the odd duck.
