can i run these lights? plz help???

i have a halogen round light that is 55 watts and i was wondering if i could run it like that becuz its only gonna be one light??? if yes how should i hook it up? i need an answer right away becuz there is a race on my friend's private trail tonight. and i need lights, my stock one shattered

i believe you need a 25 watt bulb, or it wont work

it will work perfectly fine
you only need to change the bulbs to 25 watters if you want 2 lights

i'm not doubting your answer specialized7 but the stock one is 35W Halogen. i jsut want to make sure that i won't fry my stator from a 55? even though the stock one is a 35?

stock stator can run 55 watts,
also why people run 2x 25watt lights.
BTW anyone know where to get some banshee lights?

I just bought a set of Pilot driving light and mounted them up they look sweet but I haven't wired them up yet. I dont recall the wattage but I'd say its most likely 50-55 watts each. I never thought about overloading the stator. If they are 55 watt bulbs where can I get 25 watt bulbs? Are they a common item?

ok thanks but anybody know how to hook it up???? the stock wiring has a yellow, green, and black wire i beleive the wiring for the halogen has only two wires a black and white

splice something up,

you can find the 25watt bulbs at any hardware store, or automotive store most likely, if you cant just look online.

i see banshee lights on ebay all the time. heres a set...

there a little pricey but you can find a good deal sooner or later, just keep your eyes open

alright well i found out yellow is high and green is low. so i jsut hooked the white to the yellow and black with the black and it works! and they look badass

wiring is the easy part black is ground (-) and yellow and green are both positive(+) one is for low beam the other is for high beams but I dont remember which is which so hook your black to black and your white to either yellow or green
