anyone ever owned one??? wht year? and howd you like it??? i kinda in the worst way ever want one of these and want to know wht y'all thought if u has one

heres two im looking at, would really like the black one but i doubt ill get it or either right now maybe in a yr or 2

I've never owned an M car but have had other BMW's, there is nothing else like them but when the electrical gremlins show up they can be frustrating. The extra body work they put on the M3's never appealed to me. And the lower compression of the M50 engine left more room for forced induction with it's lower CR. If you don't plan on trying to increase performance and like the extra's that only the M cars offer, I would say you will never be more happy with anything else. Here is 2 of mine

One of my best friends in high school was a trust fund kid who had a brand new 98 Black M3. Not very powerful by today's standards (240 if I remember correctly) but man was it fun to drive. It was balanced, predictable, smooth and plenty fast enough to break every law in the book. I wouldn't mind owning one but I would stay clear of one that had high miles or was owned by a young person.

my friend just got a 2010 335i msport package and that thing is nice! a little too many electronics for my taste but it is a very nice car with a super ride!

i know its a little too new but it is a sick car stock

id get the silver one cheaper and probably less to worry about. the black one has to many things you have to "fix" and price should be arround 6600 tops.

I didn't have the M3 but I did have a 91 318 is that was fun as hell to drive.

Mine was way to much fun. Mine was a 4cly with 5 speed. Not loads of power but very light. Spanked many a Mustang. I know it sounds like BS but the car was fast as hell off the line and that's how I got them. It's hard for them to catch you when you can pull 5 or more car lengths on them right after the line.

^^^ i believe you my moms golf is only a 4cyl super light weight well has a turbo but it destroys most stuff we get a green light with
