I am selling an OEM (88-02) axle off of my 94 blaster on ebay along with numerous other parts. I was wondering will the 88-02 axle work w/ the 03-06 style hub or does it need the 88-02 hub. Is it compatible at all? What all is needed, sorry for the dumb question, been a long wk. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Summary: what all is needed to make a 88-02 axle fit on an 03-06 Blaster.

NOT A BANSHEE AXLE...
Putting an axle off of an older 88-02 Blaster onto the 03-06 carrier.
What is required to make it fit? Does it work if you use the older style floating hub?
Thanks guys

Ok......I'm in the process of putting an older axle in a newer blaster now... (88-02 axle in a 03 to 06 blaster! First of all i don't even wanna get into how freakin seized that thing was...I Had 2 cut off the star that holds the sprocket....I live in Amish country and took it to the machine shop there for these amish guys to get it off......They said (MY word jacob go get me my big lopper and a torch!!!!LOL!!! Saved the hub though! Anyway the 88-02 axle has a ring on the brake side and the 03-06 models don't! So if u grind on the inside end of the 03-06 brake hub flush it fits on the 88-02 axle just like the 03-06!! You just gotta use clips like the older models 2 hold the brake hub in......sounds like alot of stuff but i gotta older axle on hand and the other bent!! Gotta Go ridin this weekend

sounds interesting post up some pics if you can
