Very interested in purchasing Awk08's rear hydraulic kit, I'm new to the forums. Just bought a 99 Blaster and the current brakes do not work at all. Thanks.

Guess I shoulda updated this when I sent the PM earlier :)

Thanks BlasterFun484, Awk replied like instantly.... The forums work pretty fast, i'm surprised!

sorry guys, I'm so swamped at my day job, I just cannot build any of these right now.
check back in a few weeks to see if things have slowed down here ?

Hey awk, are you selling your brake setup right now? I could use one and I have no idea how to pm!

sadly no :(
still way too busy to build these in the evenings or weekends.
might have to be an offseason thing only from now on ?
That really sucks I heard you have amazing deals and product...I guess I'll try and find a cheap one on eBay or something:(..if you do start again please tell me incase I haven't bought one yet!

Hey awk just found you and heard you have a great set up to stop blasters fast. my rear brakes are shot. do u have any breaks left?

The qoute of mine you posted tells the story.
Not making them anymore :(

Dang, any idea where I can get one without much modding? My rear stopped working and had to ram the front brakes and I rammed pretty good the other day, flipped and the quad about landed on me, but I can be going 60+mph and just use the fronts to stop asap LOL
Thanks

I use 03+Blaster/Warrior/Raptor/Banshee calipers on the back with an adapter plate.
Here is the caliper in position and the adapter plate if you wish to copy it:

(note, the mount plate is off for the picture and the caliper is just sitting on the rotor in this pict, it sits lower when mounted)

I have used various master cylinders, although they typically involve some welding:

Easy-peasy...

This is an old thread. Don't think Awk08's been on in a long time and he wasn't making his brake kit anymore. You can prolly find a kit online but not cheap. If you have a welder & some fab skills you can build one. The Blaster rotor floats so it's not so difficult. Something like this will get most of the parts you need.
Put a yz85 caliper/ master cylinder on our guest Blaster over 10yrs ago, still working great.

Good luck 🍻
