Atv laws in snow

I hate cops, my mother inlaw is a cop and she's no exception...

I'd run, but that's just me. my buddies brother has a modded shee, he used to ride on the road and run from the cops all the time.. if you really wanna be on the road, just get a street bike. if it's modded there should be no WAY a cop can catch you if the weather is nice.. if it's snow covered, yeah, quad will clearly be more fun LOL... maybe build it too fast to be caught LOL

I do ride on the street once in a while, I just try not to get caught basically.

I'm in western wa and it rarely snows here so 2 things happen , everyone freaks out cause they don't know how to drive in it and I have fun riding my quad in it :) last time we got about a foot and I rode till 10:00 , even rode through the jack in the box drive through and got food and shakes . If the cops pulled up or hit their lights I'd just stop and say hi .

Is there a particular reason why anybody would ride the streets anyways?.......These are ALL TERRAIN VEHICLES. Kind of self defeating.

For what it's worth, my friends and I frequently ride on country roads to pick up buddies and get to places...yes it's illegal......yes we have run from township patrols.....yes it's stupid.......but at least it's not in the city where there really is no legit reason to have a quad........unless it's really snowy :). I've never had so much snow that I couldn't drive in it so I can relate, but eventually it gets to the point in Ohio where it's a level 3 emergency and you are not allowed on the roads period.......no cars......no snowmobiles......no nothing. You stay home and don't move on roads unless it's an emergency.

i get on the roads all the time. it's illegal, but it's a risk i take. i have fun on them in any weather. feels good doing a doughnut on fresh pavement.

last time it snowed a couple weeks ago i rode all the way down the highway to my buddies house. when i pulled up under the shelter at his house a state trooper comes easing by a couple minutes later haha. it was a close call.
