Air box

Making an airbox. Pretty easy to do, and relatively cheap compared to CFM, or other peoples.


Bought some flexible exhaust pipe, gonna use it to get the bends i want, then take it to a shop and have them bend me a 2.5" pipe

Box cut out of 26? Gauge sheet metal. 9.5" long, 6" wide, 5.5" tall

Ill have it bent and possibly welded tomorrow. Gotta get sanding pads for die grinder this fri.

I like your idea of using the flex pipe to make your "model", how are you keeping it in shape to transport to the bending shop, muffler shop?

Its not like a rubber hose, you gatta really bend it to bend it. It will be safe on the 2 mile trip to shop.

Thanks. Beats spending the $120 on other ones. I got enough sheet metal to make another, ill raffle it off when its done.

mine cost me a pretty penny because mine is the 250r style airbox and if u offer cfm 75 bux they accept it
