ok, so me and a friend have teamed up to make one epic short film. there is a video contest at my school every year with cash payouts. i told him i would be splitting whatever it is 70/30 since i will be doing most work. last year the videos sucked IMO, and i kicked my self for not entering. the payout was $300 last year. so we have teamed up, and are still going through some brainstorming ideas. we have one idea locked down and that would be a zombie Apocalypse scene. but we are still not 100% positive on that. however, this video is going to be THE best video i have created. im planning on working on it a lot and slowly. the competition is at the end of the year, so we still have plenty of time.

well its not that bad lol. im friends with some of those kids, he made his own song etc, but i can still do 1000x better then that.

i was going to enter my "MX is my drug vid" and "12 days-the trailer" but dident think those wer worth of it. thats why i kick myself. both those would have gotten first IMO. maybe not the 12 days one.

Alright just to fill you peepes in on some info. I have a million ideas for this now video for the competition. The basic idea is that it is going to be a zombie appoclyopse video based around me trying to get gas for our generator to survive the winter. I think its going to be called "Survival- Prevail and You Live". Again the competetion isent until the end of the year. But like I said before, I want this video to really express my abilities and maybe even be know for me.

I'm going to be bringing in new techniques like adobe after effects that I have never used before, and some camera tricks in which create the illusion of multiple zombies.

Just a little taste of what one of my ideas is....

I will be running across a field and nail a zombie in the head with my pipe wrench and have blood squirt out of him all in slow motion.

So like I said. This I sent going to be my usual "spend 2 days filming.... Spend 10hrs editing" this is going to be a year long video across multiple seasional changes.

I hope filming is to start next week.

BTW, the class I took for this, turns out that this competition is mandatory and has to be done. So either way I have to do it. Lol guess I can't slack out now.

hello people of the interwebs....

so some bad news and good news.

bad news is that he Zombie video has an extremely slim chance of actually happening. reason being is that time has fallen short, and there is not as much time im able to film and edit. this vid would take about 2 months to film and 2 months to edit. and thats every weekend for 2 months. i also could not get that many ppl together for that long of a time, so that video is going to be put on hold.

however, i did manage to get 5 people together and some morphsuits and we are going to be doing a dubstep/robotic dance. The dance will be called "psychedelic Morphine" and will feature some trippy camera work, lights, and editing work. It's going to be trippy as hell! The music will be a dubstep and robotic mix and the total length will be about 5 mins long. It is going to be a choreographed dance and include some weird and trippy sh*t.

I have about 4 months to create and edit this project, however when it is done i will upload it to youtube, but it will be a PRIVATE video. So only those with a link can view it. I will post the link here. This is to just prevent people from school seeing it before it is entered into the competition.

Like i said, its going to take some time to create, but if we take first, that will be $300 in my hand so im really looking forward to it and i think that we have a great group.
