i read there that leaded race gas is burning at a different rate largely die to the additional things added to the fuel to produce more power.


pump gas.... premium does NOT burn faster or slower than regular.

im pretty sure stock blasters have 6.6 to 1 compression and that doesnt sound like it really needs premium to me

ok thanx so do u guys have any idea what it might be it did it before i rebuilt it and it still does the same noise with all new parts

normal operating noise?

mine has a slight knock as well and it always has since new. as for the ticking noises it makes, who knows, but if its running fine and you still have good compression blame it on the noise from the reeds opening or closing or something.

there are a few threads on here about the knocking noise. look around at those and see what others have to say about it. try a colder plug, it may help.
