i still cant ride this peice of sh*t. im getting so fed up. i changed my pilot from a 48 to a 55 and im still not getting anything good. i also bumped the main from a 155 to a 160. im at a total loss. the damn throttle cable keeps popping out even after i made up a brass washer to hold it in place. im debating on sellin it. a damn foot of snow tomorrow and its not gonna do sh*t.

See I dont know why your getting all upset. Its over nothing really. Get a new throttle cable and then that solves that problem, no you just have jetting which isnt very hard to do. With a tude like that though, nothing will get done.

take the air boot off the carb and look at the slide, while moving the throttle, just to make sure the slide is moving freely and to kinda see at what point the cable comes out of the top....worse comes to worse, tape the sh*t outta the cable and where it goes into the top of the carb real tight!!! and it should hold there to get u by

also those jets seem abit big, did it make a diffrence when u changed the jets?

the plug is fine, the jets are big but it idled a little better but didnt run better. yeah i have a bad attitude but when you spend 2grand on something you expect it to run so if your gonna biotch about it leave my thread no one said you had to read it. thanks for those that are helping and putting up with my inpatience.

WELL like yb said talking like that is going to get you no where. Have fun with your "pos"

The first thing you need to do is get the throttle cable figured out. Either some how fix the one you've got or buy a motion pro one. Once the throttle cables fixed call, email or pm flotek and ask him where you should start with the jetting. He should be able to get you close and from there do a plug chop and fine tune it.

the throttle cable is a motion pro..at least according to the bid when i bought it. and im around where denny said in terms of jetting. im at a total loss

Hmmmmm.......

Sounds like something in the carb is sticking. If you have a good cable but it's popping off and not idling right I would say pull your carb apart and inspect everything. As you're pulling it apart, make sure everything is moving as it should.

Outside that I would probablly listen to these guys.....

Good luck man!

I'm also on the East Coast and looking forward to the snow. I'll be in my shop today working on my snowmobile. Give me a call today after 11 am and we'll try to figure this out. 860-230-5003

turns out my carb was hooked up wrong lol. woops..well it runs but it still bogs a little and whatnot but im sure if i play with the jetting ill get it. thanks for all the help

i didnt realize the end of the cable needed to hook into the slide as well, it was just in the white plastic peice so it kept popping out, thankfully a local shop was open and the guy was really cool and helped me out..
