Anyone from around Columbus area know of good riding spots?

Sorry, I don't understand what your are saying. 250 bore kit? Jetted 3 degree? Turn key black? huh? My key is always black, but it's colder than 3 degrees here right now...

Dude I bought it off of put that on. Its a 50 bore kit I just meant its a 200 with a 50 so it made it a 250. And idk what that other dude was talking about.

ok im thinking what he meant was 50over bore, jetted, with a 3degree advance keyway (prolly the vito one), and the quad is black durka durka.....lol

come on guys 50 thousandths isnt 0.50 its 0.005 haha..

that has got to be the most common misunderstanding when it comes to engine talk. ive seen a 220 230 250 260 and even a 290 blaster before...lol

actually that would be 5 thousandths... 50 thousandths is .050 lol

but anyway that does NOT make it a 250, i hear that way too much..

Oh damn, I am a young grasshopper when it comes to quads. I thought that a bored blaster with a big bore kit becomes a 250 if it starts at 200. Explain to me the point of boring it out if it makes a 200 a 200.2? or whatever Also, I got the bike for 1g flat and it has nothing wrong with it and is mad fast. Did young grasshopper get ripped off? Also can someone tell me what happens if I mix too much oil with my fuel? I'm pretty sure I did that and it still ran real good.

haha .. well.. you have a lot to learn I can hear! :) but hey .. everybody starts there..

In the "Blaster world" a true BIG BORE is a 240-265cc kit.. To have that the bore must match the piston which in that case would be 72mm+! (stock blasty piston is 66mm)..

The reason for boring out with such a small diffrence is that the bore itself gets worn out.. so you bore it out just a little to make it "fresh" .. and of corse put a piston in that match the new bore! .. for a stock cylinder it is like this table..

66.00 mm (stock)
66.25 mm
66.50 mm
66.75 mm.
67.00 mm
67.25 mm
67.50 mm
67.75 mm.
68.00 mm (max overbore stock cylinder +2mm)

so basiclly everytime you need to refresh the cylinder you choose next step from where you are..

And oh.. too much oil in the fuel will make it leaner.. not good and everything would get very carbonized..

You should always and only mix after this ratio 32:1 (that means 32 parts fuel and 1 part oil.. )

ex. I live in Europe so we measure in liters .. so I have a 20 liter fuelcan ..

there I fill it with 16 liter fuel and 0.5liter oil.... (thats 32:1 I then divide both fuel and oil with 2 and which is perfect.. Its still the same (32:1)

and 1g for a great runing Blaster.. I think that very reasonable.. I bought mine for atleast 2g.. its an 05..

Running too much oil will effectively lean your fuel mixture (yeah some will argue this but it's true. It will RICHEN your oil-fuel ratio yes, but lean your air-fuel ratio). However, if you richen your jetting to compensate, you will make more power. All the way down to 16:1 or so. More oil=less friction and better ring seal. I run 24:1 because it's easy to mix and fills a 25 litre can perfectly. Sorry I busted your chops about your original post. All's fun. The more you learn, the more fun these bikes can be!
