240 forged pistons

That's what I was afraid of. So one would have to work up an order for 12 72mm's, 12 72.5mm's, and 12 73mm's.

36 pistons sold at one time will probably never happen but it is a nice thought...

Thank you for the diligence in tracking any possibility of getting a forged big bore piston option!

yes thanks ken for being there for us!! i am hoping the la sleeve kits soon.... they told me 4 weeks 3 weeks ago but i take that with a grain of salt.

Just got off the phone with Wiseco. They have over 20 pistons. Waiting for a call back from Tom in Tech Service. I'm going to see if he'll fax me the piston spec sheet.

i just talked to la sleeve... said 2-4 weeks. the cylinders are cast and need machined and they will be ready. he then said he assumes the pistons will be available as well??

The castings have been done for months. They were going back and forth with their vendor over price. Does LA Sleeve have the castings?

Wiseco has over 20 MX 250 pistons. They are 72 mm and need to be modified to work in a 240 Blaster.

I'm running with the MX 250 pistons at the moment. I'll check on the others and let you know. I think I can do these pistons with the mods to make them work for $180. Sucks but that's all we got.

JW, say everyone who needs a bb piston buy up all the ones they have made....does that mean that the same thing is gonna happen a yr from now...it only seems like they are making a small amount of them at a time, and the wait time on these pistons and bb kits just really dont seem like its worth the hassle...

that does sound true freek but if they think they have a big enough market to sell em and make enough profit so its worth doin im sure they will sell em again

I will probably stick with stock stroke screamer for my build plans for now unless new information on the bbk pistons pops up in the next 6 months
