THats when we first got her.

The storry goes that every year in newport, indiana there is an antique auto hill climb and people bring there old vehichles (1942 and older) and (1955 and older for discontinued) and run them up the hill. These guys dont play around. Now there is a flea market andd hot rod car show to so there is plenty of fun. Now my dad threw a valve through a piston and blew the motor up and had to rebuild it, so here is a pic of me helping on the rebuild

Still some ways to go on the restoration but its getting there. A summer job for me when im staying with him is to help weld and fab up some new back boxes, redo the wood flooring, diamond plate over the wood floor and running boards, build some benches for the back, and redo the wood bed floor. alot to do. lol

Edit: Plus i want to tear down my blaster and redo the whole thing except the motor.

Tell you're pops to back off on the NOS and he won't put valves into pistons 8-|

Lol noo NOS, all motor lol. Hedrove it 130 miles and the engine just let go.

very cool! now to put it into service!

I plan on trying to get the pump working sometime and maybe clean my blaster with it, lolI:I Talk about pressure washiing!I:I

My blaster will actually fit in the back of it

Very cool! We need that truck at our station to show off! Have you flowed any water yet? I mean, does the pump gear work, or is it just a runner/driver for now?

Those old Chevy 216/235 straight 6 engines didnt have full-pressure oiling systems until the mid-1950's, so Im not surprised it blew up after being run awhile. They are easy to damage if revved too high or put under too much of a load without being first retrofitted to pressure oiling.
