    Selling question

Been a while folks. Looked in the ticks for this and I am assuming I need be a paid premium member to sell on this site? Is this correct? Or is it a number of posts needed to sell? How much is the yearly premium if so? I was considering selling my 97 with a bunch of backyard mods as I'm...

How the hell you guys get your bikes so clean

I clean mine by changing the oil/spark plug/clean air filter/grease fittings/ and chain lube...... What else is there to clean??? You folks might be in the wrong forum......=). BTW, I do ride a Harley........ Soap , MOTHERS, WINDEX, and elbow grease......Is a Blaster still considered an ATV...

figured out why my blaster wasnt handling good

I got it =). Soften the ride LOL. Only reason I'm on a Blaster now, is to pass it on to the kid......BUT hes gonna have to fight me for it =), NOW....... Curiosity kills the cat. My exp comes from Harley Davidson, gotta keep them up(tires that is). Buck 70ish, I think I will keep the air in...

figured out why my blaster wasnt handling good

Gotta ask, why do you people run so low AP???? I've always heard minimum of 10, but I run higher(15-20). The tires are mainly for 30-36 PSI max cold, and everyone is running basically flat????? Clue me in. Bad suspension? What are the benefits? Negatives have to include bead failure...

looking for information about shock replacement

I trail and open field ride. I ride it when I get a chance(no kid/wife). While I do have Lonestar +3 +1 arms, it does have the DJ shock conversion brackets. You will never break those. SOLID. 450 r shocks around the whole bike. Super sweet on my first educated guess setting. These are...

    New/Rebuilt Shocks

Man, that looks better then my Harley. If my blaster was that pretty and clean, I think I would have to sell it...... =). I would feel a uselessness of it. Its a quad man, Rip it thru mud ,trails, turf..... Get it and yourself dirty. Chrome is for the street, but I guess sand is not too...

    99 blaster hydo brakes ?

I just did it with my 97'. However, it was bolt and go setup.Lonestar +3/+1 a arms/tierods, hooked to spindles/hubs/rotors/calipers(03+). SS lines and lever/master to boot. Awesome upgrade. I dont have rears yet, but never really did..... 03+ fronts make a huge difference. You would need...

    uh oh!wtf happened?

Running it too lean on both bikes and getting on it too much(patience). I'm not too familiar with 2 strokes yet, BUT you ALWAYS run an engine rich, when breaking them in...... Helps prevent blowing your stuff up. Been a while for me, but last engine I "broke in" was my Harley. Did 500-600 miles...

    HELP ME! Clutch or Gears?

I would definitly go with the easy route. Star and shift shaft. These can be visually inspected with the cover off. I had shifting problems(no popping out), and it was all in the shift shaft. Small spring at the end that plays a big roll in shifting. Have you done another oil change/have a...

    Rear wheel spacers

I dont jump either, and actually bought the 4",put them on today. Should work nice, puts me about an inch wider then the front. Now I got to get her back on some turf. Should handle much nicer with the suspension upgrade =).

    Other ATV's You Own/Ride..

2001 Honda 300ex for the wife. Bulletproof and getting better then my Blasty quickly. Too many aftermarket by craigslist too pass up =). Wish the Blaster was 4/110 rears.....ITP beadlocks and holeshots for nutin with the purchase of 450r front shocks............ BUT, I got my 97' for a steal...

    Rear wheel spacers

Aren't Blasters normally 40-41" in the front stock? I used 450R shocks with relocater brackets. Shock length(and settings) plays a role in width and height. I bought the A arms used, but sure they are +3/+1...... 46" will be good for me, but I do need to adjust the springs on the shocks. They...

    Keihin carb

Well got that bike running finally. New cable. Prior cable(3-4" longer) was routed thru the bars and strapped to the left side upper frame, back into the carb. Routed new cable the same, no go.... I got Clymers, so found the real manual online, very vague. Found a post. Cable thru cable oval...

    Rear wheel spacers

Yeah, I've seen and might try the cheap studs? Otherwise an extra $40 for G-force. More then likely gonna extend the swinger next year. So dont want to mess with the axle. Just did the front with Lonestars +3/+1, and 03+ spindles/ hubs/ brakes/rotors/calipers & lines, and 450R shocks all the way...

    Rear wheel spacers

Finished with the front end on my 97'. Well now I'm sitting at 46" in the front and 43" in the rear. I need to catch up =). I see they have banshee/YFZ pattern extended hubs, but my rears have descent 8x9 ITP's with good maxis. Hate to buy new rims/tires. I'm gonna do the swinger next year...
