i guess the blasters front end is perty damn good. i went out and measuered a few things and most the stuff is the same as a yfz and i was always told the blaster had no rake whatso ever that the bottom frame was just flat nuh uh its got like an 8 or 9* rake i dint measure but it looks like that, i uess yamaha had plans for these things lol most things u expect for round the camp fire not for racing dont have a very noticable rake. so i guess my idear of a yfz fron clip is pointless on a blastey im gonna redesign the a arm shock monts and upper mounsts to get max travel in the front.

im gonna but its all pretty close to the yfzfront end most of the measurments any ways but im gonna take it to skool in a week or too and do everything i already hav aall the geometry figured ou and it WILL make it better. im gonna make a arms and my own personal swinger too that are designed for max rtavvel its based off fragles design but its lower

The height (ride height ) is how yo set up the springs. you only have som much room for up travel of the wheels before the frame hits the ground, so you design droop travel with lots of sag.

really i serched under suspension i have to see that
yea i know im just saying i saw yur blaster in forsale and it sits way to high for my usage so im ognna use your design iwth a twist and make the mount lower to lower it down for mx

bad pik its from like 89 or 90...

sweet msn u look like one of thosedudes fom starwars the storm trupers or watever lol but yea i see how u moved it thats cool and gives it better travel since its more parralel with eachother hard to explain what i mean but i think u know i like that design tho

and those are bone stock a arms? did you move the bottom shock mount or just the top?

Bone stock arms, just moved the upper mounts, the rear is a stock swinger extended +2 with an 88 250r shock and lower mount relocation bracket.

That bike handled absolutley insane. with a mild port job I could hang with an 250r in anything except wide open in 6th. If there were any bumps, they could not pull me at all

Yes there definitly is... it's not all about buying the latest greatest bolt on goody and 6 coats of spray paint.

It's about, why doesnt my bike bike do what I want it to and what do
I need to tweak so that it does... When that bike was built, there werent aftermaket blaster parts o'plenty. Douglas made wheels, somebody made an alum grab bar and maybe 2 companies were making pipes, and uni made filters.

Noone made wide blaster axles, no one made a-arms, no one made shocks for blasters. If you wanted something, you built it

I wish someone was close to me... around $500 in partsand 3 or 4 days I could teach them to build a blaster suspension setup that would kill.

if i have the time and money this summer i might have to run out there and take you up on that lol
