It should be right around .047-.049" depending on case tollerance. I am glad that you are happy with the work, hope that it is improvment over the previous work. Also for those who are asking or commenting on the intake the shop that had it before did not leave me much to work with it was a mess and nothing lined up at all. So we shall see how it runs.

that intake port looks like sh*t....and it still has casting marks

The part of the intake you are commenting on does not see any flow. Why clean up the intake in an area where the reed cage pushes past?
That all looks pretty good to me. Especially when you consider the circumstances.

intakes are over-rated as far as porting goes on a blaster, if you left it stock it will out flo a VF3, people assume it has to be opened up huge with a sanded finish, and then for all that work you wouldn't gain 1 hp, thats a good squish clearance, run it.

came in at 150 PSI last night when i did a compression test.
Fired right up on first kick.
now just need to get the jets set correctly.

Every Thread I'm on your on gonzo (not that that matters but whatever), and why do you always have to be negative?

hmm i wonder were everyone is getting that machine at home that tells someone how something runs from the way it looks, hmm i wonder why the builders dont have one...

bolt it on and let us know

+1.............................................

it is all back together, did the Heat cycles this weekend, going to fine tune it then i will let you know how it runs.

the intake doesn't do a thing, if you ever do a cyl. don't touch the intake then ride it take it all apart and grind up the intake, result no diff. and thats not inc. changing port timing

I'm saving people time thats all, that knife edged intake is probably worse than a stocker, but you'll never get people to believe it, maybe Kennedy will spread some light or flotek
