wheel spacers

i guess my blaster has front wheel spacers. A couple guys on ATV riders.com told me that there are alot of problems caused by them.

Is this true, they do more harm than good?

Should i remove them or just leave them. Some guys said it just puts extra wear on ball joints....

it all depends on what kind you have.. i know someone that has wheel spacers and he races motocross and he is really really good.. he beats just abou everyone and he rides hard and he hasnt had a problem with the wheel spacers

I have 5" wheel spacers on my quad and have yet to have a problem.
