Whats the fastest quad your Blaster has beaten?

im buildin a 250r this year starting this summer, gettin a sweet deal on a 88frame with title for 250 bucks, but it will probably take me a year or two to finish that project
 
Now we need that one dude that says he was beating 450Rs on his Blaster to come in here. 8-|:D

that guy told me hes got a twin turbo attached to his flux compositor..hes also got one of those yellow power bands tooo and ceramic muffler bearings...there is no way i could beat him,,hes got me hands down beat

i sooo wanna dyno this thing, this DFR motor has to be in the 55hp range its crazy... i did some research the other day since my carb had a fadded sticker on it so i went off from the serial numbers and called around and found out ive got a curtis sparks FCR carb(expensive!), thought it was just a random old crf carb on it but its def not... made me happy for the day:)

Well congrats on your find but i found out the exact obisite. i talked to the guy who owned my blaster before me and said it had a 240 kit aftermarket kit wheel spacers and chrome rims but he sold it to a guy who put a stock motor in it took off all the racing parts and sold it stocks! he said he raced it!!! and it had alot of racing parts so i wasnt to happy buti just put a toomey system on my blaster and my freind just got one with a 240 kit and we race alot so i was happy then
 
The closest frendly drag I'd say is my uncle's sleaper 96 YZ250 I kept up with him most of the way. When I just hit 5th he left me in the dust while doing a wheelie at like 70+ in mid or upper 3rd I think. That made me sad.
After a month of pestering him he finally let me ride it.(this was like 2 years ago anyway) It almost killed me literally. I goosed it and did like a 55mph wheelie in 2nd by accident for about 300 ft. Almost hit a telophone pole by about 6 inches. Sort of leaned it over a small ditch only like a foot or two down. Did and acre wide donut in a soy been field on my knee, in shorts, no helmet on, and it was getting dusk out.
It royally sucked I had road rash for like 2 weeks cause I leaned back on the bike and the back wheel barely caught my leg while in the bean field, it hurt every where I went in school. Nothing broken though miracle of god. It shure as hell woke me up from day dreaming while rideing
 
I just got 240 kit on it yesterday morning. Haven't got the new carb jetted correctly yet.top end breaking up about 1/2 throttle. Beat several, 400ex, 350 raptor, 660 raptor, 250 raptor, several yfz 450's. 1000 ft wet sand drags. Got many props from guys that never seen a blaster run like that. It was the talk of St Joe this weekend

glad to see you ended up using the ct. and what carb you got on it?
 
I got a 34mm pj on it. It will carry the wheels thru 3rd now. But its way to rich on top, it spotters and cuts out at anything above 5/8 throttle.

you could go even bigger if you wanted on that carb but you will sacrifice bottom end
 
It's fast as hell now, but still able to ride trails. I'm afraid if I went to a 36mm, it be all top end. the fmf sst pipe is more mid to top end, and the port job on the cylinder is mid to top. The power band is like a light switch. Its mild in low end then all of a sudden it hits and hold on, front wheels in the air. it still has decent bottom end so I'm happy with that.

that fmf pipe is more of a bottom mide pipe from what i read. and its ported? didnt remember that.
 
The fatty pipe is bottom end(broad power range), the sst is mid to top end. And it was already ported. It's not the ct cylinder, this is a stock y-2 cylinder with a vitos sleeve, and head was done up to. got this one from a friend who races flat track locally. This is my play motor, the ct is getting work done soon. And building another engine with it
