Im thinking about sending a cylinder and head to Ct to get it sleeved to a 240 and ported and run it in my blaster which i race mx with, im only aloud a standard pipe and exhaust. Does anyone know if this will be much of an upgrade from my fully ported standard motor? And if it will work ok with the standard carb(jetted accordingly) and standard pipe.
I think i can get this fitted and running for about $720
Also are they reliable for mx racing and would it put much strain on the standard bottom end with only a lightened flywheel?
And Can u just get a shop to bore ur cylinder and put a 240 sleeve in it?
