well after reading that post about the dt200 it got me a little p.o.ed about the none importing to the usa.

what do you guys think would have to be done to a stock blaster to reach
30hp????
i do relize that every machice is different so i dont really expect a consistant answer i would just like a in the ball bark answer please and thank you!!!

and if your putting down more then 30hp let us know whats done to your beast!!!
 
well mill the head, port it, bigger carb, advanced timing, good pipe ad you should be close......

from what im told with the mods in my sig i should be around 35-38 HP
 
oh i c so its the stock parts on the blaster that make it slow as sh*t.
(it was fast when i got it and wasnt used to it but now its slow as shizia)

yep thats just how it is......

its a thrill at first but then it becomes boring and slow

it all depends on what you want to spend in getting there. this is how i would do it personally along with a flotek port job.
 
yeah thats a little to expensive for me. and that set up is for a 40hp set up
thats 700r hp there lol

There isn't goin to be any cheap way to almost double stock power.
I'd say pipe, porting, carb, and milled head and in that order.

If ya get tired of it then it's time for a 240 and a stroker :)

CPI blaster pipe, Wildcard Racing Aggressive dune port w/tripple exhaust, Milled/rechambered head, ported reed cages w/boyesen dual stage reeds, Port matched cases, Modified stator plate,Wildcard racing intake kit and 34mm TM carb.....Should put you at about 40hp
 
well, my jug and head are w/ kennedy_power right now getting p&p and headwork. i've been talkin to him back and forth and asking a ton of questions and from what i understand the p&p, headwork and pipe are all gonna feed off each other. they all need to be compatible to each other, so if you port for top end, then you need to adjust the squish to accomodate and get the right pipe that functions well in the high revs. if you get a pipe that's meant for low end and do a p&p w/o any headwork then you might as well not do sh*t.
if you have a good p&p job w/ a compensating head job along w/ the correct pipe for your engine, that should give you a damn good jolt of juice. of course the gforce3 and a larger carb are good mods too.
i'll post up a thread once i get my new top end broken in w/ kennedy's p&p and let you guys know how she feels.

I'll see if we can get some up on here in the near future, working on website currently...but having computer and camera issues at the moment...lol. I can build a hell of an engine, but put electronics in my hands and I'm lost:)

with mildporting and six gears??(oh i´m a newbie,got the blaster six gears???)it shouldn`t be a problem!!!

we reach 30 hp with about 150 ccm!!!!with four gears with a vespa!!!!

ofcourse its not hard ta hit 30hp...its just the question of do you wanna spend the money???? and how much can you spend
 
yeah im started to get agravated with 2strokes they have no low end grunt and its annoying..
i rode a warrior and i loved every part of it suspension, engine, size...
the blaster is a great machine but i am starting to think its not the machine for me.
