I want to buy a new carb.

Modifications:
-LRD full exhaust (right hand side- believe its for top-end)
-UNI dual stage filter no lid
-Wiseco piston bored .60 over
-Oil block off plate

I'm in south Florida. Lots of humidity and at sea level. I want to just ride trails. What would be a suitable carb? Suggestions are welcome. I've read the Keihin PWK 28mm are a good start. Thanks for any replies.

Ok, honestly if you have to ask that, you should learn about carbs a little more...

and 28mm carb is 28 milimeters. Stock carby is 26mm.

Do you know the advantages of having a bigger carb?? If not, why do you want one?

Just curious... What size main jet have you in the current carb?

the stock carb, properly jetted, can and will handle the mods you have.
save your $ for porting and a head mod, best bang for the buck !

The current carb I have is a OKO 30 mm carb. Which is a exact copy of the Keihin mentioned. Except The castings not being as clean, and the bowl being a little larger. However it's being a pain to jet. I still do have the stock carb as well. Honestly I have no idea where to start with the jets there. I'm not looking to go crazy with the motor right now. But was wondering if I was going to in the future would the Keihin 28mm be sufficient. Right now my pilot is a #48 with a #138 main. Not sure which position the needle is in.

do a search for 30 oko jetting, there is some info on here as to what others have jetted them at.

a 28mm keihin is a very good choice

The OKO is a China COPY of a Keihin .It is not Exact for many reasons ...The inside passages of the carb are full of casting slag. That causes the carbs to not run right mostly on the idle and the needle jet stages. Keihin and Mikuni drill the passages clean while they just blanks. The jets that they use precision drilled to the metered sizes, not cast or rough cut. Therefore you can not jet the OKO the same as a Mikuni or a Keihin. Save up and get a good carb or learn how to jet the stock Blaster carb that's a Mikuni .

I can get one from a local shop that will put the jets in that will be close for the mods I have. Then I can go from there.
