Vitos Super Stock Piston Adds +5HP???

I ran across these pistons on ebay and the seller is advertising that it add +5HP. Surely this is a load of crap. What you guys think?

probably 2-3. it is kind of like raising the exhaust port 2mm, but doesnt work as good as the real deal.

Does Wiesco not do that? Or would this Vitos be a better one to run? And is it just the ports on the piston are different.

the top of the piston where it is closest to the exhaust port has been radiused/lowered 2mm. if you look closely you can see this in pics of these pistons. as long as it is the forged piston, which from what i hear are built by wiseco and are doing good, id say it is ok to use. might want to check into that a little more, as it is just heresay. porting is where the real power is though. this only simulates a small part of a ported engine. wiseco does not build and sell a prolite with the radius exhaust area.

The banshee guys say this is a legit 8hp on the shees but theres a draw back....

If you run these pistons you have to change them if you ever decide to go with porting.Atleast thats on the banshees.

Id say it would definately add some atleast based on the theory behind it but i dont know about 5hp.Obviously the more mods you have the gains will probably be more noticeable.

good point. these would be for a stock port setup only. a builder could port the exhasut around this piston, but that would be stupid.
