Is this normal on a vitos? Seems like a ton of flaws. Looking at it close, i get the feeling the sleeve would spin inside the cylinder.
What can i do to clean transfer ports, exhaust port, and intake.
And does anyone have any pics of a good ported vitos cylinder?

Does anyone have some good pics of a good ported vitos cylinder? This one looks like it has a ton of casting flaws. Would epoxy work to smooth out the part where the sleeve meets the transfer ports? Also in the intake where it looks like its chipped above the bridge.

Would you need the head too?
How much for a drag port?

Send the head too!
The Vitos head is not much better than stock, even with the "swirls" in it.
I'm sure Ken can do wonders for it. You won't recognize it when it comes back.

I would reconsider the "drag port" unless all you are doing is drag racing it.

All of the vitos cyls i have seen look like that. I have done both epoxy and cutting it down to clean them up. Im sure i have 1 or 2 ported vitos cyls around somewhere so i can get you a couple pics.

This is why I prefer a stock OEM cylinder that is ported. Vitos can be made very good after porting, but not many over bores available if you need them. Another reason for going with a stock cylinder ported.

If it has more bores left on it, send it. What does it matter what you paid for it if it works?
It will work OK as is, so use it as is. But if you really want to fly...
