I just got this put back together and I am very disappointed
I have rode stock blasters with more ass then mine
new topend with a 240 big bore
just had carb cleaned and rebuilt
new coil
I got this not running and stock everything
my problem is that it has bad power at the upper rpms
its good from idle to half throttle then it still revs but doesn't have much power
checked the reeds they are lightly gapped at ends
no air leaks sprayed everything
should I start looking into a better carb
could the very small space on reeds cause the weak upper rpms
starts good and idles good and revs good
the other issue is when wheeling? it pulls hard to left is this common I tried seeing if I can tweak the chain tensioners to correct it but didn't work

guys he mentioned a small gap in the reeds thats the problem. replace the reeds if there is any sort of gap, chip, crack they need replaced.

Sounds defanitly like the carb is to small. Just about all used reeds will have a small gap between peddels and cage. The pressure in the cylinder will hold them shut, as long as they are not chiped or cracked the are fine.

what exhaust are u runnin????????????????????!?!?!? my keihen 34mm is da bomb u should get one..... but for the wheelies one of your tires is most likely low...that or your axle isn't straight
