uni and k&n.

whats the best/ cheapest way to clean both of them. they are both spare filters, but i want them clean just in case. the uni is F' ED UP!

spray uni with wd 40, then wash it with the hose.u might have to do that more than once.then oil the filter.

cleaning the uni wil be easy...do it just like you cleaned the stock one...

and for the k&n you must buy the re-charge kit...otherwise if you dont clean it without it, it will abolish the lifetime warrenty on the k&n

i use diesel fuel on my foam filters all of them except my no toil and i have not had a uni but most likely i would do the same. then i put filter oil on them and put them in a big zip lock bag. i use the k&n cleaning kit on my k&n and make sure to clean my outerwear too.

i havent cleaned the uni yet. its pretty new. bikes been out maybe 3 times since the change. but ill try the wd40 tomorrow praaaably.I:I

dont worry. the uni is just really old..if it clean up great. if not. the K&N will clean up never on my bike. hell no.
