Do Blaster engines not like running a pod style air filter, direct to the carb? I purchased a Blaster that had the airbox fully removed & a small k&n style filter hooked direct to the carb. I'm trying to get it jetted properly & not having any luck. I replaced the filter w/ a Uni 2-stage, cleaned the carb, have tried 5 different main jets...Seems very inconsistent. The best that it has ran so far was with no air filter at all. A few short runs on pavement. I have heard a few comments about running an air filter directly to the carb can cause issues with Blasters. I don't know why that would be a problem (that is the only way I ever ran my 2 Banshees, over 15+ years) but I'm curious to see what the general opinion is. Any info would be appreciated. Thank you.
