hi, ive recently got a 200 blaster and want to do some mods for cheap but dont know where to start, atm it has douglas blue lable rear wheels, quadzilla front A arms, nerf bars and front nudge bar. dont think it has any engine mods, everything looks standard from the outside (standard pipe ect) ive also just bought some rear axle spacers and quadzilla front and rear shocks. the chain and sprockets need changing so i was going to go up one tooth on the front from 13 to 14 (ive been told this is all thats available) as i think its too low geared as standard but idealy i would like to go up to a 15, i know ive seen a couple on here running 15 toothed fronts so where are they from and how much difference will it make over the standard one?

thanks in advance, stef

I find the 15 tooth on ebay all the time. check out the do it yourself section for good cheap mods. reed's, exhaust, carb, intake box, are afew good starts

u wont want a 15t front sprocket without a decently modded engine, you will have no low end balls.

I think the best to start would be gettin a pipe kit and removing the airbox lid and rejeting

The first mods u should get as a couple of the guys said is:
reeds-vforce 3 reeds are the best but the most expensive you can also get boyesen pro series reeds or super stock reeds that fit the stock reed cage.
exhaust system-I have a Toomey pipe i personally think its the best for milldly modded engines but if you what to get a 240 kit you should get a right bend exhuast like a F7,shear,there are a couple of other good 1s just ask around.
Carb-for a mildy stock engine 28mm keihin or 30mm OkO is the best you can get them to fit the stock air intake boot but with lots of work,OKO uses keihin jets and is only like 60$ or 70$ on ebay,im ordering one soon. If you want to get a 240 kit and a stroker you should get a 33PWK keihin or 35PWK keihin you will have to mod or buy a new air intake boot or mod your stock one for them to fit there is threads here that show you how to mod your stock air intake boot. They easier to tune then the older 34PJ keihin carb but ask a couple of the guys that a ready have these carbs to give you better advise.
Air filters- uni or K&N filters are good there is a couple more,if you get the toomey B1 kit you will get a good filter with the kit.
Tires-There are many good tires it all depends on what you want, maxxis, holeshot, kendra all good tires.I think there is a thread on here about tires.
Hope this helps you dude.
