Let's see the stock reed cages side-by-side, and then Ill be convinced. Although Im sure if there was any performance gain to be had by swapping reed cages, it would have caught on and been done to many other Blasters a long time ago.

this 1990 set looks identical, which = no gain, but gives more options when looking for used sets, if they are identical ??.............
