I ordered this for the blaster last night. I did a search and found a couple threads, but nothing about the install. I'm sure it's pretty simple, but was wondering how you guys installed the spedo magnets? Any pics or hints? I'll take plenty of pic when mine arrives .

yea mine goes in a hole on the brake guard and i jb welded the magnet to the hub and mine works great!

I haven't installed one on a quad, but the install for a bike was very simple. Great little box with lots of good info. The tach on mine was a a bit jumpy, and I had to try many different install methods to find which one worked best on the bike. (Ended up being a single wrap around a coil wire) The temp reading for an air cooled machine also caught my eye. Sensor replaced a crush washer under the plug, and the temps in that spot are crazy hot on an old Suzuki inline 4. Good luck with the Vapor, they are good tools.

Just fitted mine but not up and running yet. For the magnet remove the hub then take out one of the Allen key bolts that hold the disk on, pit in the bolt from the kit, drill the backing plate for the sensor thats how I did mine. Not set it up on the vapor yet tho. For the rpm gauge put the red to spade end on coil, black to the coil earth. Spark plug temp sensor under the spark plug. Straight forward tbh. Mounting is a bit tricky with aftermarket bars tho.

The stock mount for the display is worthless ... IMHO. Buy a good one or build your own. I mounted the speedo magnet in a sprocket bolt hole, sensor through the swing arm plate.

Here are the instructions for the Vapor install. The Blaster kit comes with a magnetic bolt that simply replaces one of the existing rotor bolts.
