Trail port on a 240 worth it?

35mm airstryker is a very good carb and size for a trail/mx ported 240, imo. I run one on mine and I wouldn't change it for any other carb

I'm not a fan of the mikuni carbs, especially the ones that use the two piece body style. They seem harder to dial in and for the money, I'd spend a little more for the keihin but thats entirely your call.

That's the carb I have, it was a pain to tune, but they use the same jets as the stocker so you wont have to buy a pile of new jets!
If you get that Mikuni I can get you in the ballpark before you even open the petcock on the fuel tank!

ok cool, how do you like the carb after you tuned it?

ya i agree, im building a 3mil stroker 240 too, from what ive heard the 35mm airstryker is a badass carb, not bad to tune, easier than the 34 PJ ive heard. with that setup, you could push 35-40 hp and could beat a stock banshee, i think they are pushin, what, 32hp stock? rider skill would have a lot to do with it, tho.
