Tires

I'd get a set of 20" RAZR's as well. Just ordered a full set for my 2005 Blaster. Good tires, and you can get two brand new RAZR's from RockymountainATV.com for about $ 130.00 shipped (they have FREE shipping on tires!!)

The last number on the sidewall of your current tires tells you the wheel size the tire is designed for. Example: 20 x 11 x 8. You've got a 20" tall tire that's 11" wide and made for an 8" wheel. Simple.

i like the 18"tires better. as long as your not riding rocky trails then that what i have found. i like how it makes it more peppy (i know you can change sprokets too) and they seem to slide better and make it handle better. plus they lower the center of gravity on your machine. im looking at a full set of holeshot mxr6's front and back on baja rims. they look like they would be a decent tire.

^^^ oh ya, those will f*ck up a lawn in no time. but the seem like they would be pretty heavy, and on 2 strokes you can really feel the weight, cuz once your outta the powerband its harder to get back in it without some fancy clutching.

I have 20x10x11 Razrs on my Blaster. They are really durable. I don't really like the steep cutoff from the sidewall to the tread though. The Razr-2 updated tire has addressed that somewhat and made a better transition from sidewall to tread. They are durable tires though and the rubber last quite a while. My holeshot MXs up front were great tires, but just where down really fast. They are a softer compound designed for smoother MX tracks to improve grip. My holeshots are shot right now, so I'm putting the stock 21" fronts back on since the original owner took them off almost immediately. I just don't feel like paying for new tires at the moment.

i wanted to post my rears for sale but i dont have enough "privileges". i got 18x10x8 maxxis razr on steels looking to get rid of. i decided to run with a 10 inch douglas rim on 20x10x10. i like the lookB)

lol.. i think that would cost to ship them alone. actually prolly like 35. i was hoping to get like 100 including shipping. might post them on ebay idk. one tire has this little gouge on the side wall that im not shaggy about. but holds air fine. and 1 tire has a plug. steels have rust spots along the lip. damn did i just make it all sound THAT bad?? LMAO

i can imagine. i'll be offing the ones i have now soon too. i dont like how theyre oval shaped and when i do sharp turns on pavement the whole rear like shifts as if the tires are about to come off the rim. i bought them locally for 40. theyre in almost new cond dunlops and when i mounted them they looked like front tires! i was like oHHHHhh heeellll no! so in my sig i got the tires really low on air so they wouldnt look like front tires. they LOOKED boxed when it wasnt mounted. so im hunting for better tires.. thinking about gettin maxxis TT 18x10x10. that would mean i have to change the fronts too..:(
