Wow that ole Yz brought back some memories from when I was a kid. We had a yz 80. I say "we" because the town I lived in if someone had a dirt bike, moped, go cart, etc... we all claimed it.. That 250 motor would look nice in a Blaster frame.. ;)

Is that rear chain glider an absolute need? I bought the front one that goes over the swingarm, but the rear one where the chain goes thru, is it NEEDED

If you are going to be powering on through bumpy corners, I can assure you that the rear chain guide is absolutely needed!

Especially if the chain is a little worn and at its loosest adjustment.

cant help myself another 1,might as well have been free

Geeez, wtg I guess lol. I need to come hang out with you and learn your magic. Hopefully next spring, if I can get things set-up I'm gonna try n do the same thing. Only problem is I'm in a very rural area, not sure how its gonna work out, but I'll give it a shot. Seems like everybody on cl around here wants a pile of gold for a pile of shiz and it takes me 2 hours to get there

I paid $250 for it but to get the 250 I sold a sled I got free, which bought the 350x and filled my front tank[truck]with diesel:D.i took it for a quick rip and its hard to keep the front end down lol:D

Alot of us run ASR a arms. Can someone please measure the tie rod sleeves for me? I have the +3 arms but the sleeves seem to be to short. The tie rods are adjusted almost all the way out to the point of actually being unsafe. If I have the correct length sleeves than I need to order longer ones. I also need longer front brake hoses. The ones I have don't really work with the new frame mods I've done.

i can measure my tie rods tomorrow. i forget what brand, but they should be close

my a-arms are technically +5 and 5/8" as thats what they were sold as
