It's Friday. Hope to get some work done this weekend. Wonder what my bro Larry has going on this weekend ?
Heading out for a ride in a bit, hope to get a few pics to share later.
Cool. Would love to see them.
I tore into it tonight. Its all crustied up. Might as well do the fronts too. It sucks because it was in the low 60's today, perfect for riding.Thems the brakes Fred!
Didn't get to do but 5 minutes of riding, my rear brake caliper locked up on me. I knew there would be a snag somewhere.
Re wired my camper. New walls were built. New seating benches built [one needs to be fixed] getting close to pulling the shell to replace the floor.
I converted my taillights to LED. I will replace the light bulbs inside the vintage fixtures to LED as well. I'm going to put a porch light on it and that will be LED. It will need to be an automotive light fixture since it's 12vdc. I want as much light as I need with saving power.Cool. Are you going to add LED lighting to save power ?
You wouldn't be able to have individual switches with series either. Parallel would be the way to go, the power draw from lights won't be that large anyway, especially if you switch to ledSo, run individual leads or parallel? I can run a single lead for each switch, I've got no problem doing that. I have enough open fuse slots in my power panel. That's why I ask. My electric tongue jack will be ran out of the box and I'll wire up a radio fused line and 3 lights.
I was referring to running a power lead to each switch as opposed to running in parallel. I can run parallel, that's not a problem. You wouldn't be able to have individual switches with series either. Another nice grab harley!
I don't see any reason why not for just lights, it would be easier and less wire (probably) that way. You could probably run alot of leds on one circuit if need be, but I'm not sure, I haven't really messed much with 12v much since my school days.I can run parallel, that's not a problem.
