Technician

technician dont nessisarly mean porting and drag frames, do auto tech no how to port motor or build a25.5 chassie? no.. its about being able to repair al spects of a machine with out having to ask questions or rig stuff.

/\/\/\ dude, you're smokin crack..................

oconnor just does the exhaust, baaaaaaaaaaaaahahahahahahaaaaaaaaaaa

i'll bring my oconnor powered motor anywhere you want and mx/drag/tug of war, whatever you want, title for title,...........say goodbye to your self ported POS !!!!!

and my 01 does not have brake lights, but alot of earlier models did in the new england states, with cable brakes

i'd suggest you delete this thread, before you embarass yourself anymore !!!!!!!!!!!!1

i think he was refering to the diy porting videos eather way he is wrong hes does more than the exhaust in the videos also
so calm down there old buddy lol

does porting the piston like that effect reliability? how did you test it? do you offer services? how many years have you been working on these engines?

i have done a few trail and errors i would not offer porting or much performance services until i have some more trial and errors till i know its correct i understand the concept of it all just got to try it on my own stuff first and i know blaster engines like the back of my hand and can work on and fix any engine you throw at me. or at least ill try till it is finished

this right here basically tells the tale, if u look at our techs, they are a bunch of old farts, with tater being the baby ar 39 i think. They have been throught the trial and error and have become the master of their trade, just give it some time my friend

exactly what i am talking about. everyone jumps to performance. performance takes alot of trial and error

dont get me wrong, i applaud your schooling accomplishments !!!
and willingness to help on here, when you come on,
but dont state unknown facts about my brother ken,
maybe you should stop by the oconnor website and look at the services available, you can click it at the bottom of my sig

i have stoped by and looked at his work and some of his vids like i said he does excellent work i was just refering to wen someone said that copying the video doesnt count and he doesnt do the intake in the vid because it is a secret and i wouldnt want to give away my work that pays the bills

on the diy porting all i saw him do was the exhaust and i seen on his other ones of him milling the head down

you didnt see all of them then he also show how to do the transfers raise the exhaust port witch i thought is changing the port timing or something simular someone corect me if im wrong

easy fellas... i didnt say you werent tech worthy i was just simply sifting through the muk. i didnt just jump to performance either i started with general services a tech should be able to perform porting an engine is a major one. and a little frame fabrication. i understand there is more to it than that i just didnt feel like writing a book

its not a secret ken doesnt hide his work like others try to. all one has to do is buy a head someone ported and all the info is there for u to see and copy so why hide it?

yes it is changing the exhaust port timing to by raising it your getting the exhaust gases out qicker but your intake is where you are gonna gain your most noticable performance and they have to work together to achive to most out of your work

mmm big power is to be made in the exhaust port, but it all needs to work with your pipe, and carb, and head.. its a package deal not.. port the jugg and think its gonna go like hell, a home port job can kill power if you dont know what your doing to make it all work in sync

you ever wonder why none of the builders show the exhaust port??? think about it
