for those of you who are wandering... in the heat the reed screws backed out of the bottom set of reeds and were only held in by a couple threads thanks to my reed spacer.. if i didn't have the spacer i would have sucked those and my reeds right into my freshly built motor. i chased it (thought it was jetting) for 45 minutes til i got fed up and took the intake off to look at the piston... and found the reeds hangin wide open..

Looks like you need a sway bar and some slicks for that track.

@awk lol.. i invested in some loctite.. it's cheaper than vf3's and i really had had a pretty good record with these dual stage reeds.

@pitboss. Swaybars are WAY expensive and i only have front slicks. hoping to save up some money for a set of rears and rims. Unemployment really sucks.

Yeah. the sad part was if i would have realised a little sooner that it ran fine at half throttle i could of prolly got 2nd.. u can see after i got it going i was closing ground again..

thanks.. i tried to keep him behind but my left forearm was cramping up and i'm gettin old. LOL. maybe next round i can get a better start and not have to ride so hard to catch up.
