After something like I plan on building (2007 GSXR powered Blaster or Banshee) is it possible to make it street legal in NJ?
I can add turn signals, gauges, it will pass bike emissions, and it can sure as hell go the required speed limit.

Anybody know anything about this? I have only found people trying to make their stock-motor quads street legal.

My local laws are very confusing... they consider any ATV registerable but they only mention for state parks. It technically can't be registered as a motorcycle because it has more then three wheels. It's confusing, I don't get what the problem would be if it is a GSXR powered quad, it's like a bike with two extra tires.

Reason I am asking this is for resale value of course, I don't think I'd enjoy riding it on the road.

alot of states will not permit you to tag a quad. You will have to check with your local mva

in most states it is illegal and cannot be done. because it is considered a car, witch means it has to have seat belts, roll cage and more

had mine street legal here in south dakota for awhile.....wasnt really worth if for me cause i live in a small town.....very hard on axle bearings and tires too....all i needed to add to my 2002 was a mirror and a horn....and use hand signals but i never did. here is a pic of mine when it was licensed fuzzy because i took a pic of a pic..

that would be ballin if i could rip my beast on the road here! holy sh*t that would be fun. we rip roads up north but that aint exactly legal lol. but at the same time, fat chance they can catch you up there when theres a trail off every road every 2 kms.

i didnt even know it was possible i thought it was just another one of those retarded laws to take fun away from people like us

sucks you guys cant have road legal quads over there in the us
your actually lucky to find a raptor in the uk that isnt street legal now.

ya man it sucks. one of my buddies thought you could put a slow moving vehicle sign on the back of his dirt bike and be alright, but i talked to a cop who works at the fire station with me and he said its very illegal but to go a head and ride on the road, but responsible, just to get were we ride (a 1/4 mile away) He even said he would clock us with the radar to see how fast we can go... lol it pays to be a firefighter and have buddies who are cops I:I

that would be so cool....yo 89custom....i think we can get our quads legal....my bro works at a car dealership and a guy he works with has a street legal quad he rides to work !!!
