This is for folks that have used or are currently running a steering damper ... I'm working on a project and would like to know if you use the adjustment to dial the damper in to your bike and leave it ... or ... do you often adjust it for different conditions ... Not nessasarly what you think you should do but what you actually do :) ... Also interested if it's a race or sport application ... stick or puck
Thanks

streamline billet, rebuildable 7 way adjustable on my sig bike
before that, and now on my black bike as of saturday, an old denton stick,

i don't actually race, but not sure if the way, and where i ride would be considered sport ??? does there actually have to be other competitors to be considered a race ?? LOL

i adjust it regularly for conditions.......

if i'm riding smooth, easy trails (rarely) i set them maybe 1-2 clicks from the easiest setting

if going on my usual "rough ride" i set them dead in the middle, then if i know a particularly rough section is coming up, i lean forward and turn them full on

but...be careful with them set "full on" at least with a streamline, the denton is worn so doesn't matter as much,
once on a very steep rocky hill, i hit a rather large rock, which shot me to the left, and i had a very hard time turning the bars quick enuf to avoid almost going off the edge of a very steep embankment
i think slick has video of that somewhere ??

on a new, or properly functioning stabilizer, the mid settings will do most of what most riders will need
