First off im new here and think this site is great. I have a 2000 blaster and had to fit a new stator plate under the flywheel. Intead of buying the whole plate i bought the three seperate parts to mount onto the plate but i dont know which wires link up and solder to which of the three parts. Can anybody help me? :-/ A diagram would be great

First off, don't you have the old one for a reference? You would want to replace them one at a time if possible. It is very important to do this carefully because you have limited space and it all has to fit under the flywheel/rotor.

i have replaced the pickup, source and lighting coils before but didnt purchase good quality parts and they failed on me. iv orderd genuine yamaha parts and realy want to make sure i wire every thing properly this time round.
can i ask if this in relation to the tors box as i dnt have 1 "pickup: wht/red to black (ground)" i only have the four wires runing to my cdi and a 5th runing from the cdi to the coil

The pick-up (wht/red wire) is the trigger for your ignition to fire. It should be one of the four running to your cdi.
thats for the help so far..i just have 1 more question. should the two metal prongs that stick out of the small black box touch the inside of the flywheel/magneto when it spins round?
Nothing should touch the flywheel when it spins. If that is happening you need to figure out why and adjust or tweak it.
