Starts then just dies

I've got a 2001 Blaster, it was bought and ridden very little then sat for about 10 years. We got it going with just the hill start and it ran fine for a while. Now it'll start but it won't like really have any acceleration, and if I clean the carb will this help?

could be any number of things........
carb, clogged airfilter/box or pipe/silencer (mice nests) are common when they sit for that long, reeds cracked/chipped/broken
low compression, ect. ect.

heres a lil sumthin i wrote up for maintenence/troubleshooting,
eliminate these one by one and report your findings..............
