Hey guys , I want to build my banshee for low to mid range . A dirtbike buddy sad I should go up a tooth or 2 on my rear sprocket or on my front . So wich one will give the response I am looking for? Or does it matter wich one you change? what happens if you go up on both? I know I'll be losing top end speed , not really a concern for where I ride . It's not a drag bike .
Any info? LMK

Up on front / Down on rear gives more high end / taller gearing
Down on front / Up on rear gives more low end / lower gear

If stock is 13/40 (blaster)
14/40 = 13/37 = higher gearing
12/40 = 13/43 = lower gearing

Generally 1 tooth on front = 3 in the rear, so if stock is 13t/40t and you put a 14t on the front it would be the same as if you put a 37t on the rear.

Ive got a red billet sidewinder 42 it just needs to be pressed flat then it's useable. It has a slight bend to it hardly noticeable but there. I'll ask my dad on a price for it if you want it after I fix it.
