im wanting to find out how much steel to remove for the best most reliable hp gain?

i know oconnor does a great job at everything he does.

are you wanting to redesign it or mill it? to differnt things
milling the head is just taking off a few thousands of an inch to add a little bit more compresion.
redesigning it you reshape the dome shave it for a cleaner and better fuel burning, and added compresion.

if you are redisgning it do you have the proper stuff to do it? im pretty sure you need a lathe.

i have access to one, so just wondering what the demensions are so i can do it myself8-|

Is it a stock cylinder, stock crank, stock port timing? What fuel? I can send you specs if you like

non stroker hot rods crank, prolite forged and a trail port. stock head dimensions right now.

i had the head of my yz250 redesigned and its bangin. i was planning on using pretty much the same specs on the blaster head.

basically ima take .035 off the sealing surface and polish the combustion chamber. you guys think ill have clearance issues?

blasters have a conical combustion chamber. you need a hemispherical shape instead, its not enough to skim and polish--thats not redesigning the head.

i have a CAD screenshot i can send you.

Good show! best idea is to make a template of light gauge metal and turn the head in a lathe being held by the plug hole and cut untill the template fits.

A good idea is to have the design laser cut. Ideally the design needs to be redrawn into cad for the laser cutting machines to use. i will get there sometime....
