sorry I know this has been asked a 100 times but im trying to put banshee rear hydros on my 2000 and was wondering if anybody had a template of the rear bracket you have to make, and do you have to have the banshee brake pedal or can i use the stock 1, if i can use the stock 1 anyone have any pics on how to hook it up

sorry for so many questions

The best way to adapt these together is to get the banshee brake boss and weld it to your balster carrier. Then after you mount the pedal you need adapt the pedal to the master cylinder with a small piece of 1/8 metal

im gonna buy some gsxr brakes and use them when i put them on i will make a DIY

Yep, I just bought an entire rear hydraulic setup for an R6. Fabbed a couple brackets and VOILA! Rear hydraulics on my Blaster for less than $30! (Got the entire rear hydraulic setup w/master cylinder and lines off an '02 R6 for $25 off ebay)

I was also looking into that kit also on Flea Bay, looks Not Cheap and Clean 275 sound allot till you have to fab up and grind and weld vs a bolt on and go set up.
Now on some other Blaster Forums I was told if you order a longer swing arm , order it for a Banshee rear end use a carrier , brake brake stay axel and your set up also?? has any one done this , reason for asking its not the rear brake gets me wound up but being able to use lighter rotating mass parts , means faster revs!!

Sorry it took so looong. Better late than never. I used 4 stainless brackets on the caliper. They are 1 inch by 2 inch. I also used 2 pieces of stainless tubing for bushings; 3 inches long each. Use the stock mount that your stock caliper mounted to. (I used stainless b/c it was free! You can use whatever u like.) The bracket for the master cylinder is self explanatory. (It helps if you have a friend that welds for Union.)

Now no more bouncing off the 12oclock bar b/c I can lock the rear tires up! BREMBO BABY! lol
