qoute of the month !!!!!!

well i generally tend to do bad things lol.
my last incident got me 4 broken ribs/2 cracked, bruised lung, roadrash on my face. wrecked a mini quad into a steel cable goin 35mph, didnt see it till i was 10ft from it.

speedemon what i meant by hard to control was. in high powerband/wot it was lifting the tires off the ground, to the point they were just skimming, id try and turn and it would keep going straight. had to brake or let out of the gas to turn.

still not at the point of hard to control banshees are hard to control and have tht saying reserved for them only

putted around for a little bit today in the alley, did a first thru 4th pull. weaved in and out of the trees. rides great, its so nimble and agile being lighter and lower than stock. i switched to aluminum hubs/rims/carrier, front brake delete. lowered 1inch in front and 4inchs in the rear. pics when i find my link cable, hopefully ill get to ride some sand tomorrow or wed

the fmf i have for sale. $70 shipped in the lower 48 U.S.A. good condition, no big dents

the swingarm has to be notched as the hole spacing is off by 1/8in. either carrier bolt hole will do, i used a dremel with a reamer bit.

the hubs and rims fit right up, you lose your front brakes as they have nowhere to mount.

so you could run the brakes if you were to build a "bracket" or is it like no way they would work just curious

how is it almost hard to control??? its a blaster not a banshee

lol over rated. i gotta buddie thats got a mint mint mint 03 bone stock banshee. i had my 97 dt200 blaster out with himm. keep in mine my 97 has a complete stock chassis but with modded motor. keepin up wit the banshee all day was almost hard to control!!!. im pretty much tagging the banshee's ass all the way on flatts and trying hard to keep the short wheel base blaster straight. aswell keep in mind the bansee is HEAVYYYY its more or less a drag machine. ment to be fast and controlled in a straight maner. i love banshees myself but im sorry i just seen the wrong in this statment. Sometimes banshee bragging is overrated :p

NOWW in saying all that modded banshees are nasty ass hell and in every means OUTS OF CONTROL. thought i could clear that up for those that want tooo

One Of My Best 2 Stoke Mechanic Friends In Ill Raced A Banshee at 42-45 years old , He Handled It Very Well , Then Moved on To a New 450r Yamaha And Still Races When he Can , I Give Credit Where Its due , He Kept up with me on his banshee and i was on my old Built Ltz 440 , And I Would Kill Him On Pavement With The Ltz , I Even Raced His Raptor On Pavement And Killed It On The Ltz , I'm not a Fan Of 4 Pokes , But These Newer Machines Are Beasts When Built Properly

went riding for a little while today, got 55mph topspeed with out pushing 6th too hard. with 18' tires in back. it got there fast. so i figure with 22'-23's it should get around 65-70mph when cruising gravel and canals. god i missed 2strokes, very satisfied by the setup. i love these blasters, when you take cost, power, agility, price of mods into account you simply cant beat a blaster.

im looking at a 96 gsxr600 or a 89 cbr hurricane600 to stick in my other blaster chassis. im wanting to put out about 100hp to the wheels, and thats easy to achieve with a good intake and exhaust on either motor. prob run a 8+ swinger and a 44 tooth rear sprocket to keep the crazy torque there, the frontend down and no more than 120mph out of 6th gear. thats fast enough on sand for me.

Nice Sounds Like It Did Well , We Don't Have Much Sand Around Middle Ga , But I've Been Wanting To Drop Some Kind Of Street Bike Motor on A Blaster Chassis For A While , Make Sure You Post A Build Thread For It !

i will. i checked out a banshee the other day with a yamaha 600 f4 stuffted into it. stupid fast, topspeed of like 130mph and did it in a f'n hurry. it fit with little to no frame modification. the thing was just plain nasty, you couldnt just hit the gas or youd end up in a huge wheelie.
sticking a i4 in a blaster is a different story. frame has to be lengthened in the center. the middle frame rails for the a-arms has to be cut short, then go straight down rather than the 45' they were at. then a tank with a fuel pump has to be fitted in, as the blaster gas tank wont fit on the quad. best place to put it is in place of the airbox/batt box area.

03 stator for sale, very little use. looks brand new. $50

Nice ! , Blaster's Look Weird To Me Without Any Plastics , I've Had a Few With No Front Plastics , But Without Rear Plastics It Looks Like You Would Get Super Dirty , How Do You like It With No Plastics ?

i love it. no fenders gives it that dirtbike feel. and you really dont get dirty as long as you dont ride through mud. even when you do its not that bad just mud on the back of your legs and shoes
