problems with carb???

uhh i went thro a 2 foot deep puddle with out an air box lid and it didnt run rite since or kick start but i could push start it and it fire rite up but ran like crap wat could this be my guess is the carb and wat should i adjust the air screw to my mods are toomey b1, mild trail port, jetted carb, vforce 2 reeds, uni air filter thx for any help

probably water in the motor. especially if you had water sitting in the air box. you need to dry your air filter if there was water in it.

Either water got into your engine and it needs to evaporate, which it will eventually, OR you got water into your stator cover and its messing with the electrics.

Thats what happened to mine. Eventually the stator died and needed replacing.

yep I hit a mud puddle today and killed my bike. Well I got it started and it had sh*t for power and was doggy, it finally pulled out of it and ran like a charm, I still don't see how you people run without air lids when I hit 6 inches of water with one and pull in water.
