Got my 450r rear shock today...it came off an '09 450r, but could use some clean up. Excuse the quality of the pictures.

Man nice build dude defiantly a nice pipe I need to get me one of those I love that rear shock man I never seen. A silver one only saw silver yfz and Suzuki shocks nice find bro

You have the nicest pile of parts on the blaster forum.....

Where's that stinkin' frame at already?!

Thanks civic :) and that frame is sitting in the shop not getting any attention. I have been waaaaay too busy this week to even get to work on it. I'm going to try to get it stripped down and ready for paint next week. Once I do that, this build should start rolling right along.

you will really like the 450r shock. I thought i was gettin a 400ex shock when i got my 450r but it's a much softer ride than my cousins 400ex shock

Sweet, I'm glad to hear that.

Finally getting started on my frame today!!! Might even paint it too...it would he perfect to do today. For some reason its 60 degrees here!

So it has been awhile since there was an update. I have been desperately trying to find somewhere to paint my frame. In the last week I got my clutch cover back from scotj77 (looks amazing!) and also got my GSXR brakes from awk (thanks again man)

As some of you know I have been working on refurbishing some UGLY plastics. I will get before and after pics up when I'm done, but for tonight, I'll show off a 1/4 done gas tank cover.

Here is before

And after

Still have LOTS of work to do...but this is just a sneak peek at these plastics. Whoever painted these did it right...and it takes a while to get this paint off. Hopefully will be able to finish up the rest of the plastics soon!
