Prime's build

Looking good Prime any more progress or is this rainy cold weather still holding you up.

Still being held up by the weather...going to paint everything here in my shop. Just have to find a day where I can get the place warm for at least 24 hours. I am still working on these plastics. (before and after pics will come when I'm finished)

I have a few things to order soon, and will hopefully be able to get everything together when I finish painting and ordering.

I am trying to decide whether or not to run an extended swingarm. I have one that I stretched +2" and a stocker...leaning towards selling the stretched one and running the stocker. Any input?

run the +2, if it was extended properly, by a qualified welder

I can put pics up now, but it is not finished. I still have to relocate the shock mount. I also still have some grinding to do, but for the most part it is done.

The +2 for sure with all ur mods the stocker is fun doing wheelies but it just gets old every gear all she wants to do is come up...an my dads is just ported with the head milled with a toomey...what size tire are you going to be running?

UPDATE!! Looks like I'm painting my frame on Sunday. Should also be getting my new carburetor this weekend. I went out and bought myself a new Mikuni TM36.

Still working on these plastics...what a PITA.

Gotta sand thru clear coat, two layers of paint, and primer to get them back to original white. The majority of the paint is off the rears. Next is the fronts. These plastics are UGLY with paint on them. When I'm all finished I'll be buffing them to get a little shine out of 'em.

I may be wrong but I'm pretty sure I
You can use aircraft paint remover i thought I heard it doesn't eat plastic. If not I'm sure there is some specific plastic paint remover

I use Tal Strip II, but not for plastics. It specifically says on the can "DO NOT APPLY TO PLASTIC"

Glad to say this build is moving along....painting soon, got the rear plastics pretty much finished up, and I got my carburetor today. I:I

Here's a before pic of one side of the rear plastics with some slight sanding done.

And after

Looks really good. You should sand and polish those plastics as smooth as you can then apply mop n glow
