does anyone here have a pocket bike? my eighbor has a super pocket bike sitting in his garage and i wanted to know if i traded my running 5hp briggs mini bike for his non-running pocket bike would it be fair?

i have a bored, stroked and ported small 2 stroke one. if its one of the like 110 or 125cc 4 stroke ones that looks like a small sport bike its worth it. what shape is it in.
no i think this is a 50cc. like i said it doesn't run but it is in exellent condition. full disk brakes dual exhaust. he said it will do about 65 mph and i looked online and that is quite fast for a 50cc. also it has a huge gas tank witch is aftermarket.
does it look like one of these Pocket Bikes and Mini Bikes at MiniPocketRockets or is it alittle bigger
It will do 35MPH max if its a 50cc. I wanted to get a pocket bike a while ago but then decided not to.
just sold all my pocket bike stuff.. two small ones with 50cc motors, one had a fatty pipe, and the other was a bgger one with a 110cc 3 speed moped motor stuffed in it.. just sold them all for $100 about 20 min ago
If it is the blade I think you will be very disappointed, no way in hell it will run 65 mph. About 3 years ago I bought a blade with the thought of "lets see what I can make this do". Dropped about $800 into the engine, big bore kit, high compression billet head, full circle stroker crank, billet reed cage, black widow reeds, delorto carb, pipe from badazztoys, performance 2 shoe clutch, and the list goes on. After all that it would run right under 50 mph, impressive as hell for a "weed eater engine" but very expensive to get there. Sold it for $150 after it sitting for 2 years due to lack of interest/disappointment in the project.
yea its very easy to drop 300+ into one and your always working on them but they are fun when they run that is if you can fit on it. im thinking of selling mine so i can buy a new pipe for my bike.
How reliable are these bikes? I have been thinking of getting one to mess around with just for fun.
mine always started right up even befor i modded it. my brother bought one new and were always playin with it. there pretty good tho once you work all the bugs out and get it tuned right i will say this tho lock tight EVERYTHING.
just got it. it is actually a terminator SP-2. very hard tofind parts forX(. if anyone has some parts links help me!!!! i got it running but the primer button broke and won't pull fuel. also need new carb or a carb rebuild kit.
dude my friend bought a pocket quad from mini pocket rockets.com and it hasnt came yet it has been like a week how long should it take because i wanna ride that thing lol
i have a pocket bike...its like 75cc i think?? but it has a race engine and we had to put a new piston in it a month after i got it...but it was soo fast.....it would do every bit of 65mph.....i still have it sitting in storage and i am waiting to sell it
yea those big ones are nice but they get annoying after a while and havin the cops called on you as soon as you pull it out isnt fun either... mines is also for sale lol
