so i have a lil suzuki jr 50 2 stroke im repairing and its a 1979 lol and it needs a new ignition coil and i heard as long as it has the same number of wires and isint smaller a similar ignition coil will fit like from a pw 50 or another 50cc 2 stroke, is it true?

i dont know but when i bought my blaster it had a huge coil on it off of a diffrent bike and it worked so i think it would work

im looking at this Very Nice 1993 Yamaha PW50 PW 50 Ignition Coil Yzinger Y Zinger QT50 Qt | eBay and it looks pretty close to mine

I would say that if the bolts line up, and since they are the same size, I would assume it would work...

It should work . I put a coil from a f150 on my old bike so I could ride it.
