piston polishing?

For reference that piston was run with Klotz supertechniplate 28:1
I used to run Benol with the same results but switched to the super T for less smoke.

do it if you got the time and desire, i wasnt telling you not to do, just said its not worth it, but i sure just making the port poished all shiny and smooth WONT LAST very long at all, getter put together, and ride it for a month, take the pipe off an snap some pics, im almost willing to be it will be carbon coated

You're wrong. Carbon will have a very difficult time sticking to a smooth surface. I polished the intake on Taurus SHO like 4 years ago. When I took it off 2 years after that there was nothing sticking to the inside of it, unlike when I first polished it.

but no combustion is goin on there brother.

Just a theory but maybe if you run the sh*t out of your motor and dont lug it around it wont build up useing any oil. I use Klotz and i had no carbon but i run the hell out of my motors.

my neighbor swears by that theory lol :o seems to work out though haha I:I I:I

i ran klotz for about 3 months, it carboned up so bad, the rings got forced outward by the carbon building up behind them and wore them out, as diagnosed by ken and myself
i'll never run anything but the super m that has proven itself to me,
and if the carbon buildup with the klotz was due to puttin around and lugging the engine, then it's not for me, cause thats how i ride alot of times when scouting for deer, the super m doesn't carbon it with that type of riding ??????
and anyone who has ridden with me knows i ride hard alot also

heres your klotz.......................

i ran klotz for a a year in mine til i rebuilt it my old pistion was pretty black and beat up but i cant say it was from the klotz the pistion may have been the stock one from 99 i run lucas now and my pistion from a year ago is pretty clean the tops got about half covered in carbon and ive been runing lucas so im sticking with lucas for awhile

Anyone here run MC-1? I run MC-1 at 50:1 and since I switched from the 32:1 Lucas, my Blaster has much more of a snap to it, starts easier and running it that lean wont hurt because its sythetic. I love it.
