Paypal problems

I just got off the phone with paypal. I had trouble trying to join this site yesterday,I had to send in pics of my drivers license, and a utillity bill after having that account for 12 years. I was told by a paypal rep that this is random and everyone will have to do it at some point in the near future.

Just want to let everyone know that if you get into this hassle it is legit.

It wasnt some random spam e-mail either, When I signed onto my paypal account, I had to go to the resolution center to upload the files.

That is crazy. I would NEVER EVER send a copy of a drivers license and an electric bill into paypal. If they have your bank acct info then that's all they need. I would have just started a new acct with a different email address. The way I see it is paypal is starting all these new rules and already have some dumb ones and can hold up hour money all they want. They are just going to run themselves out of business if they keep it up.

yea that doesnt sound like pay pal at all. im a little suspicious of it and would never agree to it. all they do is make purchases through your card so they dont need that kind of information.
